B i o g r a p h y

Playing trumpet since the age of nine and studying jazz since age 16, Cranston, RI native Tom Kirinsky is emerging as an in-demand artist and educator. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Music Education, Tom has relocated his performing and teaching endeavors to the South Shore and Boston areas of Massachusetts.

 

His talents have afforded him the opportunity to perform at many different venues across the United States. Most notable are B.B. Kings in NYC; Scullers Jazz Club in Cambridge, MA; Ryles Jazz Club in Boston, MA; Top Of The Hub in Boston, MA; Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA.

 

In addition to his performance venue opportunities, he has performed, recorded and/or studied with notable artists including The Platters, Wayne Bergeron, Tony Kadleck, Lewis Nash, George Garzone, Peter Erskine, Steve Smith, Lin Biviano, The Temptations, Greg Hopkins, Phil Wilson, Maria Schneider, John Allmark, Dino Govoni, Kenny Haddley, Mike Dutra and Strictly Sinatra in addition to many others. Tom has also had the opportunity to perform several times for the Providence and Boston Mayors' and the State Governors' Inagural Ball.

 

He is currently the Music Teacher/Band Director and Music Department Coordinator for the Bridgewater-Raynham Public Schools in Bridgewater, MA.

 

Tom can be heard performing frequently in Pawtucket, RI at The Met; and Providence, RI at Venda Ravioli, with artists such as the John Allmark Jazz Orchestra, and the Nightlife Jazz Orchestra.
